Breast MRI

New guidelines published by the American Cancer Society recommend that certain women with an especially high risk of developing breast cancer to get MRI scans along with their yearly mammogram. The two tests improve the chance of finding breast cancer early in these women. According to these guidelines, most high-risk women should begin getting an MRI and mammogram at age 30.
