We have been a part of south central Kentucky for 40 years and remain dedicated to improving the quality of life for those we serve. TriStar Greenview is a 211-bed acute care facility with over 150 physicians trained in a variety of specialties. We are continually growing to meet the needs of our community through qualified staff, physician recruitment and cutting edge technology.
Patient safety comes first. At TriStar Greenview, we use eMAR, electronic Medication Administration Record, a bar coding system that stores healthcare data: the name of the patient, the type of medication, as well as the correct dosage – virtually eliminating medication errors. We are one of the few hospitals throughout the country that use eMAR.
TriStar Greenview is proud to be Kentucky’s first accredited chest pain center. The Chest Pain Center’s protocol-driven and systematic approach to patient management allows physicians to reduce time to treatment during the critical early stages of a heart attack, when treatments are most effective, and to better monitor patients when it is not clear whether they are having a coronary event. Such observation helps ensure that a patient is neither sent home too early nor needlessly admitted.
